When ten or more people are traveling from Japan with full-size suitcases, the conversation moves to heavy jets.
Dassault introduced the Falcon 900 in 1986. It seats 12 to 14 with a published range of 4,000 nautical miles and a cruise of Mach 0.84 (~482 knots). The aircraft has a service ceiling of 51,000 feet, 127 cubic feet of baggage volume and an enclosed lavatory.

Why the Dassault Falcon 900 Fits Japan
With 4,000 nautical miles of published range, it can fly between Tokyo and destinations such as Shanghai, Hong Kong and Anchorage, allowing for reserves and routing. Late March into April, when the cherry trees flower, is a crowded time to travel in Japan, so reserve an aircraft early.
Jets of this size usually arrive in Japan at Tokyo’s Haneda or Narita, or at Kansai for Osaka and Kyoto, and private-jet slots at Haneda are scarce, so we often plan Narita as well. Runway needs are calculated by the operator for that day’s conditions, and we confirm them with the operator before the trip is booked.
How Japan Clients Use the Dassault Falcon 900
Many heavy jets divide the cabin into areas, letting some passengers hold a meeting while others rest.
Tell your advisor the cities on the itinerary, the passenger count and how much everyone is packing, and you will get a straight view on whether this aircraft fits the trip.

Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
